At the China Development Forum in Beijing (concluded on 25 March 2024), a prominent British business academic emphasised the necessity of global collaboration with China in technology innovation. Soumitra Dutta, the dean of Oxford University's Saïd Business School, highlighted the remarkable innovations occurring within Chinese businesses, which many in the West may not fully recognize. Dutta expressed his desire for universities and institutions in both China and Europe to transcend geopolitical tensions and foster cooperation to advance global innovation.
