ENRICH in China organised a Matchmaking Tour to China from November 10th to 15th in the cities of Chengdu and Shenzhen.
On November 11th, the European delegations attended the Opening Ceremony and Sustainable World Cities Summit during the 14th EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair, which is one of the largest business fairs in China for EU-China investment, trade and technology.
During the TECHUP Chengdu session, the delegations were invited to showcase cutting edge technology and present about innovative ecosystems in the project pitching. ENRICH in China was promoted at the session and made an introduction of the project to more than 100 people in the audience coming from EU and China.
On November 12th, the B2B matchmaking offered the chance for all participants to have face to face meetings and to explore cooperation with key players from hi-tech industries to research institutes. In the afternoon, the EU China B&T Cooperation and Exchange Event was held in Xinjin Industrial Functional Zones, where participants were invited to visit to Yinlong Energy and Atlantis Golden Dynasty.
On November 14th, the delegation attended the Asia- Pacific Smart City Development Forum, one of the main forums organised in China High Tech Fair. The keynotes speeches were delivered by leading technology companies, including Huawei and ZTE. The projects matchmaking meeting was organised for smart city projects with representatives of cities and enterprises.
On November 15th, the delegation visited the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, Qianhai Free Trade Zone, Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub and IDG Incubator.
