ENRICH in China's Matchmaking Tour started on November 12th, at the "Suzhou Sino-Europe STI cooperation Seminar".
The participants had a chance to attend the seminar and engage in B2B meetings during today's event. We would like to thank to EU Sino Business Consulting, represented by Mr. Frederic Derbaudrenghien and to the Local Government of Suzhou for the excellent organization and cooperation in this event. EU Sino Business Consulting is one of the ENRICH in China's certified Soft-Landing Zones with which we are very glad to be collaborating, having had this event as a great start to this cooperation.
We would also like to thank the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology – MITA for the active engagement and participation in the seminar, as well as the Lithuanian delegation and participants from Sweden, Bulgaria and Austria and the ENRICH in China implementing partners that attended the Matchmaking Tour in Suzhou.
On November 13th, the 2nd day of the ENRICH in China Matchmaking Tour, the delegation spent the day in Yixing, attending the "2018 Yixing Sino-European B2B Cooperation Seminar". This event, organized in cooperation with Yixing Association for Science and Technology and China Yixing Industrial Park for Environmental Science & Technology (ES&TP), gave participants an opportunity to get to know more about the region's opportunities in research, science and innovation. The organizations attending the seminar also had a space to present their own work, creating a chance for important networking connections.

In Yixing, among other visits, the Tour delegation visited Benenv Co., an environmental protection company, specialized in mechanisms and environmental engineering. The company, based in Yixing, is the most famous environmental protection center in China.
The ENRICH in China Matchmaking Tour Delegation arrived in Shenzhen on November 14th, being received with a great reception dinner by the Zuhai Government.
On November 15th, the participants attended the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) having the chance to do matchmaking with key Chinese tech-based companies and research institutes. During the Fair, ENRICH in China had a representation booth and it was presented at the Round-table Dialogue event.
Dr. Gao Peng from Innovation Norway also presented ENRICH at the Asian Pacific Smart City Development Forum. The CHTF, held annually in Shenzhen, aims to promote economic and technological exchanges and cooperation between different countries and regions. Every year, nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and over 500,000 visitors attend the CHTF and, currently, it is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China.
ENRICH in China was also featured in the China (Zhuhai) - Europe High-Tech Product Promotion Conference, providing insights about EU-China cooperation opportunities.
On 16th of November, ENRICH in China participated in the business visit to Tsinghua SEM X-elerator (www.x-elerator.com). During the visit, ENRICH delegation had chance to understand the investing environment of China and opportunities of finding Chinese angel fund. Ms. Victoria Liu, General Manager of X-elerator –Shenzhen made the presentation on introduction to X-elerator. In addition, Dr. Mo Tan, Director of International Division, Torch High-Tech Development Centre, Ministry of Science and Technology gave a speech on TORCH?Promoting Innovation and High-tech industrialization. Finally, Mr. Sun Meng, CEO of Daren Capital delivered the case study on Fintech in China. Visits and B2B during the China High Tech Fair also continued during the afternoon and the weekend.
