The digital transition has been picking up speed for businesses all over the world since the start of the pandemic, small and medium-sized enterprises included.
Harnessing the benefits of #digitalisation is, however, more challenging for SMEs, as larger companies can rely on more resources to avoid risks such as cyber attacks and take full advantage of the reduced costs and #productivity gains brought by the trend.
In #China, policymakers have incorporated measures to support the #digitaltransition of SMEs both in the 14th Five-Year Plan for SMEs and in practical guidelines.
