ENRICH in China organised the MobiGoIn International Mission to China on September 6th- 9th in Ningbo and Shanghai.
On September 6th, the European delegation attended the World Digital Economy Conference 2019 & the 9th China Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo, which is the 1st national key expo in China to ever focus on Smart Cities. The keynote speeches were delivered by global leading economists, scientists and industrial experts, including Thomas J. Sargent, New York University, Hans Uszkoreit, German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, Fabrice Thomas, ABB and Gianluca Giorgi, ES Automation Consulting. These speeches opened the discussion about the latest developments of digital economy and smart cities.
During the Sino-EU Smart Mobility Seminar and B2B Matchmaking Session on September 6th, both the EU and Chinese companies were invited to present themselves and attend the B2B matchmaking. Companies both from the European delegation and China were able to further discuss the business cooperation focusing on smart mobility solutions and intelligent transportation. Several leading companies from China were invited to attend the B2B meeting, namely Joyson Electronic Corp, Zhejiang YunXingTianXia Network Technology Co., Ltd, Ningbo Xiaolinggou Mobility Corp and Ningbo Information Technology Service Center.
On September 7th, the EU delegation attended the Smart Mobility Workshop and the Business visit to Geely Auto Research Institutes Corp (Ningbo), a global mobility technology group headquartered in the city of Hangzhou in south-east China’s Zhejiang Province. Mr. Zhengnan Hu, President of Geely Research Institute made the introduction of Geely group and presented the process of automobile manufacturing.
On September 8th, the EU delegation seize the opportunities to have bilateral meetings with Chinese smart city solution providers at the booth of MobiGoin where participants and exhibitors were able to acquire understanding of companies’ objectives in terms of approaching the smart mobility sector in China.
On Sep 9th, Monday, the EU delegation visited SinoGNSS, ComNav Technology, which is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that develops and manufactures GNSS OEM boards, receivers and solutions for high-precision positioning applications worldwide. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone offshore and had a meeting with IFlTEK Co., LTD, INESA Intelligent Tech Inc and Shanghai Pudong Smart City Research Institute. Both EU and Chinese representatives had the chance to present their projects and companies in detail.
