ENRICH in China organised a Matchmaking and Innovation Tour to China from September 13th to 21st in the cities of Tianjin, Beijing and Chengdu. This mission offered a unique opportunity for matchmaking with key Chinese tech-based companies and opened a world of business, research and innovation cooperation opportunities in these 3 cities.
During the matchmaking and innovation tour, the participants had the chance to participate in the “2018 ICI Annual General Meeting” and attend business visits in Tianjin. The meeting counted with more than 150 participants, including representatives from governmental entities, SMEs, research institutes, innovation and business network and association.
In Beijing, the delegation participated in the ICI Info Day & Signing Ceremony, where the international participants’ road show was organised. Close to Beijing, a visit to Shijiazhuang on 17th of September was arranged, organised by the ENRICH Soft Landing Zone in Hebei. The meetings were hosted by Shijiazhuang government, where they expressed great interest in attracting the European STI organisations from business and research fields, and looking forward to building synergies with ENRICH in China.
In Chengdu, one of the largest EU-China platforms for investment, trade and technology cooperation took place. The 13th EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair counted with the participation of the ENRICH delegation, where they also had chance to interact with Chinese organisations during the B2B matchmaking and business visits.
