German Research Foundation DFG Call for Multidisciplinary Research into Epidemics and Pandemics in Response to the Outbreak of SARS-CoV-2

Content: German-backed call for a multidisciplinary COVID-19 related research projects with international participation. Project should address the prevention, early detection, containment and investigation of the causes, impacts and management of epidemics and pandemics, taking the example of SARS-CoV-2 and other microorganisms and viruses that are pathogenic to humans.

UK LifeArc Coronavirus (COVID-19) call for therapeutics research for rapid deployment

Content: Backed by UK-based independent medical research charity LifeArc, this call provides initial £10 mio. for the identification of therapeutics that can be rapidly deployed to treat COVID-19. The aim is to run trials in patients during the current epidemic.
