Wuxi Mashan Life Science Park was established in 2007 with a first-class investment environment, and is a global pharmaceutical R&D and innovation center attracting more than 160 companies in the fields of biomedicine, health care products, medical devices and service outsourcing, including the leading bio pharmaceutical companies: Wuxi Biologics, Wuxi Boya Stem Cells Technology and Fresenius Kabi Huanui, and Pfizer.

ENRICH in China has started the cooperation with Wuxi (Mashan) to organize a healthcare mission in April, 2019, bringing a Delegation of 18 European organisations from different EU Member States and Associated Countries.

The participants were invited to attend Taihu Mashan Life Science and Healthcare Forum, which is one of the largest platforms for exchange and coopearation between research institutes and enterprises engaged in the smart medical sector. This forum attracted more than thousands of life sciences, healthcare companies and research institutes from China and other countries. On April 13 2019, ENRICH in China organised the Sino-European Healthcare Cooperation Workshop during the Wuxi Forum, aiming to introduce the technology applied in smart healthcare, to promote the health cooperation on international exchange, academic development, and to launch business cooperation among the EU and Chinese stakeholders.
